Tired of jumping through hoops to put research online? An account. An affiliation. An endorsement. A category that doesn't fit. Someone deciding your topic isn't allowed.
So was I. So I made this repository — an ungated research depository where just about any research can be uploaded. No board. No categories. Tags if you want them, or not.
Title and a file. Name, ORCID, abstract, and account are optional. That's enough.
The only hard no: sexual content involving minors, and instructional murder.
Everything else: hacking, exploits, dual-use cryptography, circumvention, drugs, weapons, extremism, conspiracy, the occult, erotica, politics, religion, pseudoscience, fringe science, the work that doesn't get a journal stamp. A to Z, minus those two. Push it.
How it works
Search is keyword or exact. Quotes lock a title. A-Z is the first character of the title. Nothing else to learn.
Every deposit is scanned before it is stored — title, abstract, tags, filename, and extracted file text — for those two refusals. Text, notebooks, HTML, TeX, JSON are read as text. PDFs, DOCX, images, and everything else are OCR'd, so scanned pages and embedded images get read too.
Anonymous is the default. Leave the box checked and no account is attached, even if you're signed in. Name and ORCID stay optional either way. No IP Addresses stored. No user-agent. No email on the deposit. Sign in only if you want a private list of what you uploaded.
Files live with the record. 8 MB cap for now. This is a real site, built to stay open.
