Authenticity and historical-record policy
I understand that Gigantic Research functions as both a research repository and a historical record.
Every deposit receives a Gigantic Research Authenticity ID, an exact repository timestamp, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the deposited file. These establish that the deposited research existed in the recorded form no later than the timestamp issued by Gigantic Research.
If, when that record is issued, the research has not previously existed, been published, deposited, distributed, or otherwise recorded elsewhere, the Gigantic Research record constitutes the historical record of its existence at that time and is the earliest recorded instance known to exist anywhere.
Gigantic Research records what was deposited and when. It does not guarantee that no undisclosed, private, unpublished, or external copy predates the deposit. Anyone asserting an earlier claim is responsible for independently verifiable evidence.
Later claims of authorship, ownership, plagiarism, priority, or prior creation do not alter the timestamp or historical deposit record. Gigantic Research does not adjudicate those disputes.
